GENERAL INFORMATION:
How experienced are the guides?
- Our guides experience ranges from 15 - 30 years of hunting experience.
How many anglers/hunters per guide?
- We operate with 2 hunters per guide
Will my group be split up? Will I be added to another group?
- We run our camp with 6 - 8 hunters per week.
- We put 2 hunters per cabin so that your stay with us will be comfortable.
- As a rule we try to keep groups together and pair up singles.
What is the entire cost of the trip including all license fees, access fees and additional trophy fees?
- Please inquire as prices are subject to change due to promotions.
What deposit is required?
- We require a $500.00 deposit.
What methods of payment do you accept? Is there an ATM machine available locally?
- Our methods of payment are cash or international money orders.
Do you provide any references or referrals from other clients? May I call them?
- Yes we do provide references.
- If you request references, we will give their contact information.
TRANSPORTATION:
Do you furnish transportation from the airport, or must I?
- We provide transportation to and from the airport.
LODGING:
Where will I be staying? Lodge, hotel, tent, etc...
- You will be staying in a cabin at the camp.
How many guests to a room or tent? Can my family share a room?
- We put 2 hunters per cabin.
- If you come as a family/couple we will put you in the same cabin.
- Our cabins will sleep up to 4 people.
What is supplied? Food, sleeping bag, linens, running water, electricity, cooking utensils etc...
- If you book an all-inclusive hunt, the following is supplied:
- all transportation
- all meals
- lodging (sleeping bags, linens, running water, electricity, shower/bathroom facilities)
What meals, if any, are provided? What is the quality of the food? Sandwiches and chips or grilled steak and steamed veggies?
- We have a menu that varies from day to day. All meals are home cooked...!
- Our breakfast menu ranges from bacon and eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc.
- Our lunch menu ranges from sandwiches and left overs.
- Our dinner menu ranges from steak, roasted chicken, fish, pork and beef roasts, sausage (deer, moose, elk), etc.
- Breakfast and supper are prepared for you.
- Food is set out at lunch time for you to prepare for yourself.
You won't go away hungry here...!
Is alcohol allowed?
- Alcohol is allowed in camp, but we ask you to act responsibly and be
respectful to all others in camp.
How much travel is involved from the lodge to the hunting/fishing area?
- Travel time from camp to hunting areas ranges from 10 minutes to 45 minutes.
ABOUT THE HUNTING TRIP:
What type of weapons can be used?
- Rifle, muzzle loaders, shot guns, archery
How large of an area will I be hunting?
- Our guiding territory is 450 square miles.
What are your success statistics for the type of hunt I am interested in booking?
- We have a 100% rate for seeing bears, not every hunter takes an animal.
Who cares for the game? Is there a local taxidermist I can call or do I need to make arrangements to bring the game home?
- We care for the game you take.
- There is a local taxidermist available, you are not required to take your
trophy with you.
What are the limits and are there package plans?
- You are limited to taking one bear per year.
Who obtains the license?
- We obtain all required hunting licenses for you.
Can ammunition be purchased locally? Is there an area to site in my weapon?
- Ammunition cannot be purchased at camp, it can be purchased on the way to camp.
- To avoid any problems or disappointment, we strongly recommend you bring your ammunition with you...!!!
- There is a shooting range available to site in your weapon.
What physical condition must I be in?
- It is not important to be in top physical condition, however it never hurts to do some exercising before going on any hunt.
Is this a fully guided hunt?
- Most hunters prefer to hunt on their own, if you like a guide can sit with you.
- We typically drop you off at your tree stand and pick you up at dark.
What kind of weather must I prepare for? What kind of camo is best for your area?
- The weather in the spring time is generally mild.
- You should expect some rain and cool conditions.
